The Family Financial Plan (FFP) — a private planning tool published by BetterLife SG at ffp.betterlifesg.com.
Last updated 11 August 2026
FFP is a planning tool that runs entirely in your web browser. It helps you record what your family owns, what protects them, where important documents are kept, and the words you want to leave behind — and turns that into documents your family can use.
Your data stays on your device. FFP has no account, no server and no database. Everything you type is stored in your own browser and is never transmitted to BetterLife SG or to anyone else. If you clear your browser data, uninstall the browser, or lose the device, the plan is gone — so export a backup and keep it somewhere safe.
You may use FFP, free of charge, to prepare and maintain a plan for yourself and your family, and to produce and share the resulting documents with the people you choose.
FFP and everything in it — the software, the Family Continuity Guide, the report layouts and their design, the readiness analysis, the assistant's scripts, the artwork and all accompanying copy — are the property of BetterLife SG and are protected by copyright.
Without written permission from BetterLife SG, you may not:
The content you create — your figures, your instructions, your letters — remains entirely yours. Nothing in these terms gives BetterLife SG any claim over it, and BetterLife SG never receives it in the first place.
FFP organises information and performs arithmetic on the figures you enter. It does not know your circumstances, and nothing it produces is financial, legal, tax or insurance advice, or a recommendation to buy, hold or surrender any product.
The protection analysis, the readiness score and the findings are general guides based on common rules of thumb. They may be wrong for you. Please confirm anything important with a licensed financial adviser, and confirm legal matters — wills, nominations, powers of attorney, trusts — with a qualified lawyer.
FFP is provided as it stands, without warranty of any kind. Calculations depend entirely on what you enter; an error in your figures becomes an error in the output. Please check the numbers before relying on them or handing a document to anyone else.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BetterLife SG is not liable for any loss arising from your use of FFP, including loss of data, missed protection, or decisions taken on the basis of anything it displays or produces.
When you export a plan or a guide for your family, you become responsible for it. Those files can contain names, balances, policy numbers, contact details and where your documents are kept. Send them with care, and use the protected-export option if the file will travel by email or messaging.
FFP is improved regularly and these terms may be updated. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
